Not only that, but she is also a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration in both London, UK and Malaysia branch, as well as an esteemed associate of the Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators (MIArb).

Prof. Patricia Chung is the Founding and Managing Partner of Chung Chambers. She is also the Founding President of IACSA (Intangible Asset Commercialization & Strategy Association), an active member of the Malaysian Bar Council, Registered Patent, Trade Mark, Industrial Design and Plant Variety Agent. She is also a Certified Valuation Patent Analyst with the designation (CPVA) by Business Academy. She has been then be awarded with 2nd ranked recognition and scholarship by WIPO in her postgraduate course in Master of IP Innovation and Management (MIPIM), Singapore University of Social Science (SUSS).
She has been appointed as President of the International Intellectual Property Commercialization Council Malaysia Chapter (IIPCC MY) by IIPCC Headquarters in Hong Kong, a permanent observer of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) at Geneva, Switzerland in 2019. She has curated the flagship programme known as IP-Innopreneurship programme for IIPCC Malaysia & thereafter was being appointed as the Industry Professor by the Infrastructure University of Kuala Lumpur (IUKL), the Centre of Excellence for Governance, Ethics, and Transparency (CGET). She is currently appointed as the Adjunct Fellow of GBS of University Science of Malaysia (USM) and Adjunct Professor of INTI International University. She is also a registered member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), a registered associate of Malaysia Institute of Arbitrators (MIArb), and an Accredited empanelled Mediator of Malaysian Bar Mediation Centre (MMIC). She has been appointed as the honorary legal advisor for the Penang Care Society (PgCARE), 88 Captains and Malaysia Association Sustainable Supply Chain & Innovation (MASSCI) and a committee member of the Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), Penang, Independent Non-Executive Director of Custom Food Holdings, Committee of Penang Welfare Association for the Neurodiverse Children and President of PIBG of SJK(C)Union cum Board members of Union School. She has used to actively serving the IT Sub-Committee of Penang Bar Committee, a member of the Fintech Association of Malaysia (FAOM) and Penang Women Commerce of Chambers (PWCC). She is well-versed in corporate and both the litigation and non-litigation fronts of IP including IP Management, IP Strategy, IP Mapping, IP Valuation, IP Commercialization, and IP Enforcement and held a diverse portfolio as a litigation lawyer who contributed to a number of Reported Malaysian Cases involving IP Infringement and Cyber Security issue and being an active corporate attorney by consistently contributing Legal Written Opinions in respect of compliance matters for reputable Financial Institutions, Fintech Companies and Corporate Companies throughout her legal career for more than 19 years.
She is a seasoned speaker and moderator in many global conferences and local conferences sharing on Innovation revolving LegalTech, Fintech and Regtech, Halal IP, Green IP, IP Commercialisation, IP Infringement in the AI era, SDG and ESG compliances from IP perspective dan also mentor & judge for numerous Lawtech Hackhaton and IP Commercialisation Pitching Competition. Under her leadership, Chung Chambers has soft-launched their own LawTech products and also smart contracts during 10th Anniversary Dinner in year 2024.
Jane Ng
Partner
Jane graduated from the University of Malaya, Malaysia in 2001 and completed her Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) in 2002. She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitors of the High Court of Malaya in year 2003.
Jane was practising in Kuala Lumpur and having vast experiences in the areas of Banking, Finance and Civil Litigation before getting married and moving to Penang. She continued practice in Penang in the areas of Dispute Resolution, advising Banks and financial institutions on debt recovery specializing in Hire-Purchase, Industrial Hire-Purchase, Forfeiture of Property and Corporate Insolvency. She has acted as Counsel and Defense Counsel for Banks, MNCs and local companies conducting Trials and Hearings at the Subordinate Courts in the Northern Region, High Court of Malaya in various States and Court of Appeal, Putrajaya. Besides debt recovery, she has also acted and successfully brought and defended actions for individual clients on a wide range of civil actions such as tort, trespass to land, fraud and misrepresentation in contract, breach of trust, Mareva Injunction, goods sold and delivered, divorce and custody of children disputes.
In 2016, she founded the firm of Messrs Lee Yuen Syakira & Ng, Advocates & Solicitors, together with 3 other partners. That firm currently exists under a sole proprietorship.
Jane joined Chung Chambers in July 2020 handling the Dispute Resolution, Estate and Family Proceedings portfolio. She is an active litigator with more than 17 years’ experience handling corporate, commercial, family and estate proceedings. She is an avid thinker and a tactical player in the Courtroom.
Jane’s practice areas include conventional drafting of tenancy, partnership and corporate agreements as well as Wills and Deeds of Family Arrangement. Occasionally, she finds time to engage in pro bono work for the under-privileged.

Keshanivaarini Baskaran is a legal practitioner with more than 17 years of experience in the areas of real estate, banking and finance, corporate advisory, conveyancing, and estate administration. She has advised and represented a broad spectrum of clients, including financial institutions, property developers, corporations, business owners, and individual investors.
Her practice encompasses a wide range of property and commercial transactions, including property development projects, acquisitions and disposals of land and real estate, financing and security documentation, corporate transactions, and commercial agreements. Having handled matters across various industries and jurisdictions within Malaysia, she is well-versed in navigating complex transactions while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Keshanivaarini is recognised for her meticulous attention to detail, practical problem-solving approach, and ability to manage transactions efficiently from inception to completion. She works closely with clients to understand their commercial objectives and deliver solutions that are both legally sound and commercially viable.
She obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) (Hons) from the University of London and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2008.

Alicia Low Shyan Mei

Ms. Alicia Low Shyan Mei has been a legal assistant at Chung Chambers since 2nd June 2026 focusing on Intellectual Property Litigation. Alicia has had experiences in General Civil Litigation in areas of contentious disputes pertaining to Company, Insolvency, Estates and Land Matters.
She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 7 August 2020.
Ung Yi Jie

Yi Jie is a Legal Associate with experience in corporate, commercial and intellectual property disputes. Prior to joining the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice, she was involved in a range of corporate and commercial litigation matters, including shareholder disputes and claims relating to goods sold and delivered. She enjoys analysing complex legal and factual issues and believes that the devil is in the details when it comes to dispute resolution. She currently focuses on intellectual property litigation, including matters involving the protection, enforcement and defence of intellectual property rights.

She has extensive experience in financial reporting, audit coordination, tax matters, treasury functions, and project cost analysis, with a strong track record of supporting management decision-making and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Throughout her career, Fione has held senior accounting positions where she was responsible for financial statement preparation and review, budgeting and cost analysis, treasury functions, tax compliance, audit coordination, and stakeholder management. She has worked closely with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, financial institutions, and operational teams to ensure sound financial governance and regulatory compliance.
Her professional background began in auditing, where she developed strong analytical and financial control skills before progressing into senior finance roles. Known for her attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to continuous improvement, she brings extensive practical expertise in financial management and business operations.
